「因果推論における根本問題(fundamental problems of causal inference)」について、scientific solution/statistical solutionの区別があり、scientificの方はhomogeneity assumptionを課す。

その関連で、自然科学で実験を行う時には、繰り返し実験を行うのはmeasurement errorによる理由のみで、unit間のhomogeneityには疑いを持っていないという話を聞いたのがなるほどと思った。
